What do you love about working with 1001?

I love the energy and vision that is inherent in imagining new ministry. I get to work with people and teams who are intrigued by possibilities, animated by love for people in the community, and willing to take risks for the sake of the kingdom.

What is your favorite ice cream?

Mint chocolate chip. Cold, refreshing, with  a good jolt of chocolate.

Where is a place you've never been that you'd love to see?

The Greek Isles

A book you've read/are reading you could recommend to planters?

True Story is a great resource to use in developing leaders who are equipped to communicate the good news of the gospel in ways that resonate with contemporary culture.

The Tangible Kingdom is a great resource to use in fostering missional practices as a part of the DNA of your forming community.

And The Missional Journey by Bob Logan is a helpful resource.

What is a "third space" where you spend time building relationships with people where you live and work?

Our cul-de-sac/street, our neighborhood pool, and the local dog park

A Bible verse that undergirds your ministry/life?

The Parable of the Prodigal--"You are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found."
